Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week, including weekend hours in the guaranteed total. Call/text may be required for shift openings or call-offs.
Job Description
This position is at a 96-bed hospital specializing in behavioral health. The patient population includes adolescents aged 13-17 and adults 18 and older across various treatment units. The average length of stay is between 7-10 days, with treatment focusing on acute stabilization.
Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to patients in a behavioral health setting.
- Utilize de-escalation skills during patient interactions.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately in the EHR system (HCS).
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
Required Experience
Minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health or related fields, with familiarity in managing dual diagnosis patients preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active RN license in Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Healthcare Worker (HWC) certification.
