Job Description Summary 2nd shift Full Time Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)/Medical Technologist (MT/CLS) needed to join our MUSC/Florence family! Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) CC001233 FLO - Lab (FMC) Hourly Health-22 Work Shift Performs a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic medical lab tests as requested by healthcare staff according to established protocols and procedures. Prepares specimens for microscopic examination or testing procedures. Operates automated laboratory instrumentation and equipment. Performs quality control and assurance procedures. Records lab results in specified system. Follows all required HIPAA privacy, safety, and biohazard procedures and standards. *** 2nd shift full time *** Education : Graduate of an accredited/NAACLS approved program for Medical Laboratory Scientist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
