About This Role

NorthStar Energy Solutions is looking for a hands-on Safety Manager Support professional to assist our Transmission & Distribution (T&D) operations across the North Texas area. In this role, you'll play a key part in the day-to-day execution of field safety initiatives. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in the power industry, with a focus on T&D safety leadership. You'll work directly with crews, foremen, and project leadership to promote a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and conduct on-site safety observations that drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Provide daily support to field safety teams and operations personnel across Transmission & Distribution projects in North Texas.
• Conduct regular field visits and jobsite observations to help ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA, CUSP standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with foremen, crew members, and project leadership to identify safety concerns and reinforce safe work practices.
• Promote a proactive, solutions-focused safety culture across all job sites and crews.
• Assist in tracking and analyzing safety-related data, including incidents, near misses, and compliance observations.
• Review safety documentation and help drive corrective action and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support the execution of safety initiatives tailored to project needs and conditions.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of personnel.

What You'll Bring

• A minimum of 8 years of experience is a must in the power industry, specifically in Transmission & Distribution.
• Must have 45 years of direct safety experience within T&D environments.
• Current CUSP certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire is a must.
• High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel.
