Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care under supervision of an RN or MD in accordance with the nursing process and established policy.
• Perform clinical procedures within scope (e.g., phlebotomy, injections, drug screens) and administer medications with monitoring for adverse effects.
• Assist in developing, prioritizing, and coordinating an interdisciplinary plan of care; participate in patient and caregiver education and discharge planning.
• Maintain aseptic technique, ensure safe and orderly patient areas, restock supplies, and document care accurately.
• On-call duties may be assigned based on location and agency needs.

Requirements

• Active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
• Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Arrhythmia certification preferred; ability to meet on-call expectations if assigned.
• Weekend availability and ability to work a 5x8 day schedule; valid driver’s license preferred.
