AFLAC voluntary benefits (life, disability, and more) Flexible, all-inclusive PTO — take time when you need it Daily Pay for financial flexibility 401(k) retirement plan Employee perks, discounts & appreciation events Supportive staffing ratios A fun, team-oriented environment with strong leadership What You’ll Do Assess & Monitor Evaluate respiratory status, vital signs, and oxygen levels Monitor residents on oxygen therapy, ventilators, and other treatments Communicate changes promptly to the care team Deliver High-Quality Care Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizers and inhaled medications Manage oxygen therapy and perform airway suctioning Assist with tracheostomy care and airway management Manage Equipment Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory devices Troubleshoot issues and ensure equipment safety and functionality Maintain equipment according to infection control standards Educate & Support Teach residents and families about respiratory care and equipment Support residents with chronic conditions such as COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and sleep apnea Promote improved breathing through therapeutic techniques Collaborate & Document Work closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams Participate in care planning and team meetings Maintain accurate, compliant documentation What You Bring Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Associate’s or Bachelor’s) Active Respiratory Therapist license NBRC certification (CRT or RRT) Current CPR/BLS certification Strong clinical and critical thinking skills Experience with ventilators preferred Compassionate, patient-centered approach Join Aventura at Walton Hills Be part of a team where your skills are valued, your growth is supported, and your work truly makes a difference one breath at a time. #J-18808-Ljbffr Aventura Health Group
