Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Northern New York

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Watertown, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; weekend, holiday, and call coverage required; 13-week assignment; on-call response time of 30 minutes

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current New York State Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Knowledge of clinical equipment and instrumentation used in OR/ASU settings
• Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• Preceptorship, charge nurse, and leadership abilities preferred for experienced RNs
• Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to assess patient clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
• Ability to recognize safety issues and implement safe patient handling techniques
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong prioritization and delegation abilities
• Ability to function effectively in high-stress situations with creative problem-solving skills
