About the Position

Job Title

Cath Lab Procedural RN – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Athens, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) | On-call required every third weekend and 1–2 days per week; occasional holiday weekend call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct procedural nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Assist physicians and the procedural team throughout diagnostic and interventional cath lab cases
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain a safe, sterile procedural environment in accordance with established protocols
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities as scheduled, including weekend and occasional holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Prior experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or EP lab setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
• Comfort and familiarity with on-call scheduling requirements in a procedural environment
