An HVAC Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role involves working individually as part of a small team, frequently traveling to multiple job sites, and providing reliable service during standard work hours and on-call situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency
• Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions and breakdowns
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC issues
• Interact professionally with customers to explain services and address concerns
• Adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards on job sites
• Test equipment performance after installation or repair
• Document work completed, including parts used and repairs made
• Replace defective or worn parts as needed
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests

Preferred Qualifications

1. 4+ years of experience in HVAC service
2. Technical diploma or certificate in HVAC technology
3. Proficiency in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair
4. Knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC equipment
5. Strong troubleshooting skills
6. Excellent customer service abilities
7. Effective time management
8. Committed to safety compliance
