Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Decatur, GA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while working in a hospital setting. This assignment offers the opportunity to deliver patient-centered care and gain experience in an acute care environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Georgia Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions for adults and medically complex patients preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with ADL retraining, splinting, and discharge planning preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: AM 8.
• Work Pattern: 5 shifts per week.
• May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
