Clinical Psychologist Opening with Burn Center, Phoenix, AZ

A large multi-specialty faculty practice group is seeking a full-time Clinical Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological care to patients across the full continuum of burn treatment and rehabilitation at a nationally verified burn center in Phoenix, Arizona. Position Overview & Key Responsibilities: Provide psychological assessments, therapy, and ongoing care for patients of all ages in inpatient and outpatient settings Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary burn care team, participating in daily rounds and treatment planning Address post-traumatic, pain-related, and health psychology concerns, supporting recovery and patient-centered outcomes Participate in the education of medical, nursing, and allied health students, as well as residents and trainees Contribute to clinical research initiatives when applicable Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to professional practice standards This is an academic setting with opportunities for participation in research Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Arizona Experience in medical or trauma-focused psychological care preferred Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care skills Clinical research experience is beneficial, but not required Benefits: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Retirement plan 20 days PTO plus 10 paid holidays 5 days of CME leave with allowance for continuing education, professional memberships, and educational resources Employer-paid licensure and malpractice coverage, including extended reporting (“tail”) insurance Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) The Community: Living in Phoenix means waking up to more than 300 days of sunshine a year, dramatic desert sunsets, and the stunning backdrop of Camelback Mountain and the Sonoran landscape.
