Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Ohio
• Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
• Ability to adapt interventions for various learning or developmental needs
• Skilled in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine their needs for OT services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with educators and families
• Provide direct therapy, consultation, and classroom strategies to support student participation and learning
• Document progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Adapt and modify materials, classroom environments, and tasks to facilitate student success
• Educate staff and caregivers on techniques and tools to further student achievement
• Maintain open, supportive communication with all members of the educational team
