About the Role:
North Point Senior Homecare is looking for compassionate and dedicated PCAs, HHAs, and NA/CNAs to join our growing team in Virginia Beach, VA! If you have a passion for helping seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety in the home
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support to senior clients
- Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
Requirements:
- Current certification or experience as a PCA, HHA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant preferred
- Prior experience in home care, senior care, or a related healthcare setting
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Virginia Beach area
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
