Franchise Growth Specialist

The Franchise Growth Specialist will be responsible for qualifying, engaging, and advancing prospective franchise candidates through the early stages of the Franchise Development process. This role will serve as a high-volume, candidate-facing resource focused on improving lead quality, increasing kept Step One appointments, and ensuring qualified prospects are effectively transitioned to Franchise Recruiters. The right candidate will build rapport with prospective franchise owners, ask thoughtful discovery questions, assess motivation and readiness against established criteria, and maintain consistent follow-up to move candidates toward the next step in the process. This role will work closely with Franchise Recruiters, Franchise Development Marketing, and Franchise Development Leadership to support the team’s growth targets across the Unleashed Brands portfolio (Urban Air, The Little Gym, Snapology, Premier Martial Arts, Water Wings Swim School, Class 101, Sylvan Learning). Key Responsibilities This individual will be accountable to the individuals responsible for protecting the Unleashed Brands including Franchisees, the Home Office, and the Unleashed Brands Shareholders. The Franchise Growth Specialist will report directly to the Vice President of Franchise Recruitment Engage prospective franchise candidates through phone calls, emails, text messages, and virtual meetings to qualify leads, build rapport, and schedule appointments. Drive Step One appointments through consistent follow-up, strong candidate engagement, and effective scheduling across multiple Franchise Recruiter calendars. Support the Franchise Development team in generating new Franchise Agreement signings by improving early-stage lead conversion. Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, candidate notes, and follow-up tasks to ensure pipeline visibility and accountability. Partner with Franchise Development Marketing to improve lead quality, campaign performance, and opportunities to improve conversion. Identify and develop self-generated leads when possible. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required. Experience in lead qualification, sales, customer engagement, business development, recruiting, admissions, or a similar high-volume, candidate-facing role preferred. Franchise development or franchise sales experience is a plus. Experience working against KPIs, activity goals, or conversion goals is strongly preferred. No certifications are required.
