Senior Cost Accountant

Our Manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Accountant to work in their Houston TX office. Our client looking to fill this role as soon as possible. We’re looking for a candidate with 5 plus years of accounting experience. Experience in public accounting is a huge plus! Responsibilities Responsible for the full–cycle general ledger accounting Ensure consolidation is performed accurately on a monthly basis. Prepare monthly internal financial reports for upper management review Perform ad-hoc analyses as assigned. Prepare PL manufacturing statement and balance sheet accounts Prepare schedules for quarterly review and year-end audit processes with outside audit firm(s). Prepare AFEs and maintain fixed asset schedules Analyze inventory changes Process AR/AP intercompany transactions Qualifications B.S. Degree in Accounting or equivalent with five plus years of progressive accounting experience CPA and/or MBA preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred Skills Knowledge of general and cost accounting and financial statement preparation is required. SAP and SAP BPC experience Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel (required). Employment Type Full Time #J-18808-Ljbffr
