Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Caster Operator to join our dynamic team in Gilberts, IL. As a Caster Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our casting operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities- Set up and operate casting machines according to production specifications.
- Monitor the casting process to ensure quality and consistency of products.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on casting equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in training new operators and providing guidance as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Caster Operator or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
