Introduction
UniversaCare is inviting applications from experienced and compassionate caregivers for a live-in role supporting a private client in Bedford Hills, NY. This position runs Thursday through Sunday and is ideal for a professional caregiver who values consistency, enjoys providing attentive personal care, and is committed to creating a safe, supportive home environment.
Job Description
The caregiver will reside in the client’s home during scheduled days, ensuring consistent, high-quality care and companionship. This role requires reliability, empathy, and professionalism, with a focus on creating a safe and supportive living environment.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care and assistance with daily routines
Support mobility and ensure a safe environment
Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks
Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities
Monitor and report any changes in client’s condition
Qualifications
Prior live-in caregiving experience preferred
Strong communication skills and patience
Ability to work independently and responsibly
Must be punctual, reliable, and comfortable with overnight stays
Compensation
