This role blends remote work with regular in-person engagement at our Washington clinics to foster clinical collaboration and support continuity of care.Your Day-to-Day WorkConduct nurse telephone triage using clinical judgment, standardized protocols, and decision-making tools.Assess patient symptoms and determine urgency of care, escalating to providers as needed.Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, procedures, and care plans.Triage and act on abnormal test results, assist with issues such as Afib, blood pressure, and post-operative follow-up.Accurately document all interactions in the EMR and uphold HIPAA compliance.Serve as a liaison between providers, patients, families, and community partners.Contribute to the development of workflows and protocols that improve patient experience and safety.Environment and Shift DetailsThis is a per-diem, hybrid position. It includes remote work with regular onsite presence at our Olympia Washington-based cardiology clinic. Initial training is conducted onsite. Ongoing onsite attendance is expected on a rotational or scheduled basis, and occasional travel to nearby clinics may be required.Experience & QualificationsMust-HavesActive Registered Nurse license in Washington State.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Current BLS certification.Excellent communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills.Ability to manage competing priorities and function both independently and collaboratively.Nice-to-Haves3+ years of experience in telephonic triage or cardiovascular care.Familiarity with Epic or similar EMR platforms.Licensure in additional states, if applicable to patient coverage areas.Pay and Benefit ExpectationsCompetitive hourly pay ($43.68-67.23)Comprehensive health insurance (with zero-cost premiums)Dental & vision plansFSA/HSA optionsRetirement matchingPaid vacation & floating holidaysMental health resources, and more!Be part of a dynamic care model that blends flexibility with connection.
