We employ a growing team of engineers, machinists, programmers, and manufacturing professionals across multiple domestic and international facilities and recently established a 25,000-square-foot Dallas-Fort Worth manufacturing facility that serves as a major hub for production, engineering, and operational expansion. The Dallas operation supports high-precision CNC machining and advanced manufacturing for critical industries where quality, repeatability, and speed are essential. We support customers across aerospace, defense, energy, space systems, robotics, satellites, drones, nuclear technologies, and other advanced industrial sectors that require highly controlled manufacturing processes and rigorous quality systems. The CMM Programming & Metrology Engineer will serve as the enterprise technical authority for coordinate metrology, building the inspection standards, systems, and methodologies that ensure dimensional consistency and manufacturing excellence across a growing global production network.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, simulate, optimize, and execute CNC machining operations utilizing advanced CAM software such as Fusion 360, Mastercam, Hypermill, NX CAM, or similar platforms.Set up, prove out, and run high-precision components while maintaining aerospace and defense quality requirements and tight tolerance specifications.Develop and improve machining strategies, tooling selections, workholding methods, and fixturing solutions to maximize productivity and part quality.Support new product introduction activities by translating engineering drawings and CAD models into efficient manufacturing processes and repeatable production workflows.Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and software development teams to drive continuous improvement, automation initiatives, and manufacturing standardization across multiple facilities.Required and Preferred QualificationsStrong CAM programming experience utilizing Fusion 360, Mastercam, Hypermill, NX CAM, or equivalent software platforms.Proven experience setting up and operating high-end CNC equipment such as DMG Mori, Hermle, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, or similar machines.Deep understanding of machining fundamentals, including feeds and speeds, tooling selection, workholding, fixturing, material removal strategies, and cycle optimization.Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements while machining precision components to tight tolerances.Nice to have: 5-axis simultaneous machining experience, mill-turn experience, automation systems, probing technologies, pallet systems, AS9100 experience, and exposure to aerospace or defense manufacturing environments.Ideal Candidate ProfileHighly skilled manufacturing professional who enjoys owning the entire machining process from programming through production.Passionate about manufacturing excellence, precision machining, and continuous process improvement.Strong problem solver capable of improving cycle times, reducing scrap, and increasing machine utilization.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment where individuals have significant ownership and influence.Interested in helping shape the future of digitally connected and software-driven manufacturing.What Success Looks LikeConsistent production of first-time-right precision components.Reduced cycle times and improved machine utilization.Scalable and repeatable CNC programming standards deployed across manufacturing facilities.Successful support of aerospace, defense, energy, and advanced industrial customer programs.Continuous improvement contributions that increase manufacturing efficiency, quality, and throughput.Why Join the Team?Work on mission-critical aerospace, defense, energy, and robotics components.Access advanced CNC machining technology and evolving factory automation systems.Participate in equity ownership while helping scale a rapidly growing manufacturing organization.Influence machining, programming, and manufacturing standards across multiple facilities.Join a high-performance culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and rebuilding industrial manufacturing capability.BenefitsHealthDentalVision 401K PTO
