Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment at an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in Clive, IA.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 50 beds dedicated to severe injury and illness recovery
• Occupational Therapy department serving primarily adult neurological and orthopedic patients — no pediatric cases
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekend hours are negotiable
• No call or float requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current, active Occupational Therapist license (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience
• AHA certifications required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides customized, intensive rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
