Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $39/Hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Must reside in the Greater Houston, TX area and be available to attend training and occasional onsite meetings in The Woodlands, TX.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Remote Oncology Triage RN, you'll serve as a trusted resource and advocate for oncology patients, helping them navigate treatment and symptom management while coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct telephonic oncology assessments and triage

• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and symptom management

• Coordinate care across providers, specialists, and support services

• Identify barriers to care and connect patients with resources

• Document all patient interactions accurately within the EMR

• Support patients and caregivers throughout the cancer care continuum

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes

• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment

Required Qualifications

Active, unrestricted RN License in Texas or another Compact State

Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience

At least 2 recent years of dedicated Oncology/Hematology experience (Outpatient Oncology Clinic or Hospital Oncology Unit)

Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) OR willingness to obtain certification within 1 year

Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office

Excellent communication and patient education skills

Ability to work independently from a HIPAA-compliant home office

Reliable high-speed internet connection

Ability to attend onsite training and meetings in The Woodlands, TX

Preferred Qualifications
