Dental Hygienist Hershey Plaza Dental Center is looking for a friendly, collaborative Dental Hygienist to join our team! Location: 507 N Hershey Drive, Suite A, Bloomington, IL 61704 Schedule (4 Days/Week) Monday 7:30am-5:00pm Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm Friday 7:30am-1:00pm Consistent Patient Schedule Average approx. 6-8 patients a day (60 min recare and prophys, 60-90 min SRPs, 90 min new patient appointment) Benefits Competitive benefits include health insurance, dental coverage, wellness benefits, 401k, six paid holidays and PTO. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in IL and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience Open to new graduates or experienced hygienists Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods sitting and standing Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year Other Requirements TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions. Must be completed prior to starting employment. Not applicable in FL & TN.
