Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in ER nursing required License: Valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC Must-Have: - Must be available to work Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day or Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. - 12 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) required per contract. - Travel experience is required. Description: ER Registered Nurse needed for a fast-paced, busy emergency room setting. This position requires alternating 36/48-hour schedules or straight 48-hour shifts. Candidates must possess certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC. Experience in managing a variety of emergency conditions is essential. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are necessary for this role. Familiarity with charting systems, preferably Cerner, is a plus. The successful candidate will work with patients across all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. An ability to manage diverse patient cases and provide high-quality care is crucial. Weekend coverage will be required as part of the contract. Candidates should be comfortable with a high-volume patient census and various emergency procedures. This role demands strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
