Aviation Construction Project Manager

What You’ll Do Lead day-to-day construction oversight for one or multiple projects Drive project planning, scheduling, estimating, and cost development Establish and manage critical project objectives and execution plans Oversee contracts, subcontracts, and change orders Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact Lead RFP and bid processes , including subcontractor selection Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Monitor project financials, reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics Coordinate across engineering, procurement, and field teams Support project closeout, documentation, and turnover What We’re Looking For 7–12 years of construction project management experience Background in aviation, oil & gas, pipelines, industrial water, or similar industries strongly preferred Experience with construction oversight, scheduling, cost control, and contract negotiation Strong understanding of project financials and reporting (GAAP basics required) Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field preferred (Equivalent experience will be considered) Note: Candidates with primarily residential or commercial-only experience will not be considered Details In-office role based in Atlanta, GA 30-day WFH flexibility policy Optional 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off) Opportunity to work on high-impact infrastructure projects #J-18808-Ljbffr The Planet Group
