Job Details Setting: Neuro ICU / Neuro Critical Care Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Start Date: 11/2/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 12 hours Shifts Per Week: 3 Weekly Hours: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940-$2,040 Weekend Coverage: Required Floating: Required to float within equivalent or lower-acuity units as needed Patient Population: Adult neuro and neurosurgical patients Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of ICU RN or Neuro ICU experience Previous travel nursing experience required Active compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA Epic EMR experience required Experience with ventilators, telemetry, and intracranial pressure monitoring Ability to manage invasive lines and advanced neuro monitoring equipment Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability in a high-acuity hospital setting Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program preferred Responsibilities Provide direct, compassionate care to adult Neuro ICU patients with complex neurologic conditions Monitor and manage patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, and post-operative neurosurgical needs Care for mechanically ventilated patients and support advanced airway and respiratory management Perform and assist with bedside procedures and neurocritical interventions, including ICP and EVD monitoring Administer medications, titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of safety, infection prevention, and patient-centered care Apply now to join this Neuro ICU travel nurse opportunity in Columbus, Ohio and advance your ICU nursing career today.
