What You'll Do

As a Cook, you'll prepare delicious and nutritious meals while ensuring each resident's dietary needs and preferences are met. You'll work closely with our Dietary Services team to create meals that residents look forward to.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and serving meals according to menus, recipes, resident diets, and portion and temperature guidelines
• Ensuring meals meet dietary restrictions and individual resident preferences
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and work environment
• Assisting with food storage, inventory, and preparation for upcoming meals
• Following all food safety, infection control, and facility procedures
• Working collaboratively with a supportive team to provide an exceptional dining experience

What We're Looking For

• Previous cooking or restaurant experience is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food Handler's Permit or ServSafe Certification, as required by the state
• A passion for cooking and serving others
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
