Information Technology Support Technician

Position: Information Technology Support Technician Description: At BlackHawk Data, the Information Technology Support Technician provides highly professional and polished operational support for users, networks, systems, cabling, and any other technical needs to support the customer. Responsibilities include developing operational knowledgebases and infrastructure documentation both internally and customer-facing, logging all incidents and requests into the ITSM system, coordinating with the IT Service Desk for accurate documentation, establishing and maintaining operational protocols and full system documentation, as well as maintaining inventory of connections and equipment. The technician also performs proactive system monitoring, coordinates with vendor support teams, escalates unresolved issues, and handles configuration changes for business critical systems. Requirements: Software troubleshooting, software installations and updates, software error investigation and resolution. User access management and password resets. Knowledge of user equipment and peripherals (such as printers and scanners). Networking experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, and similar in a multi-vendor environment, covering diagnostics, troubleshooting, configuration, and operational management. Capability to coordinate with vendor support teams and escalate issues. Ability to be available for normal hours as well as after hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary. Extremely strong customer service interaction with a varied user base. Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems. Experience with hardware. Benefits: Competitive pay.
