Overview:

Ōnin Staffing is hiring a Certified Sit-Down Forklift Driver for a client in the South Valley area of Albuquerque, NM . This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who has forklift experience, is dependable, and does not mind working hard.

This position is not just sitting on a forklift all day . Candidates must be comfortable helping with manual labor, working outside in the elements, cleaning up the yard, breaking down cardboard, and assisting where needed.

Pay: $16/hr
Location: South Valley area of Albuquerque, NM
Position Type: Temp-to-hire

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Move, load, unload, and stage materials as needed
• Assist with yard clean-up and general labor duties
• Break down cardboard and help maintain an organized work area
• Work outside in different weather conditions
• Follow all safety policies and supervisor instructions
• Support the team with daily warehouse, yard, or production needs

Skills and Experience:

Job Requirements:

• Must have prior forklift certification
• Must have at least 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
• Must be willing to perform manual labor, not just operate equipment
• Must be comfortable working outside in the elements
• Must have steel-toe boots
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, including THC
• Must be able to pass background requirements
• Must be dependable, safety-minded, and ready to work
