What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric care in a 30-bed ward with an average daily census of 16-18 patients
• Perform newborn nursery examinations and assessments
• Conduct pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including subspecialists and intensivists
• Work closely with a dedicated 16-bed Pediatric ICU staffed by pediatric intensivists
• Participate in teaching pediatric residents and medical students
• Contribute to an academic environment affiliated with the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care within a Level II Trauma Center serving Northern Nevada and Northeast California
• Ensure compliance with Pediatrix standards and best practices in pediatric medicine

What You Need

• Active Pediatric Medical License in Nevada or eligible for licensure
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Residency training in pediatrics
