Details Behavioral health unit with 9 beds Patient ratios up to 1:9 Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week No 48-hour weeks On-call required approximately 1x per pay period as needed EMR: EPIC Requirements Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license required BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required 24 months of current psych/behavioral health experience required EPIC EMR experience required Charge experience required Experience with Geri patient population required De‑escalation certification preferred (MOAB, MAB, CPI, or SAMA), can be obtained during onboarding Driver's license required for consideration Professional reference from supervisor, charge nurse, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within past 24 months preferred Additional Information Provide direct patient care within a behavioral health unit Holiday coverage required for 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless unit is closed First-time travelers accepted with required 24 months of psych/behavioral health experience Local candidates not accepted within 90 miles of the facility Past UPH employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are ineligible to work travel assignments at any UPH market facility These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
