Aviation Aircraft MechanicThe aviation Aircraft Mechanic (MDHI-530) is responsible for providing full on-site maintenance support for flight/functional Check Flight Operations at US Army Flight Test Directorate (AFTD at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The support will be conducted in accordance with current Army directives, including but not limited to, AR 95-1 and AR 95-20. Areas for support to be provided include completion of all maintenance test flights on AFTD aircraft, fault isolation and troubleshooting, and management of internal contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records. This is to ensure all aircraft, aircraft component and shop inspections and tasks performed are compliant to Yulista Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures as well as all applicable/approved technical data. Perform visual and physical evaluations, testing and control of parts, products and raw materials to ensure conformity to established specifications, applicable standards of quality. Provide technical assistance, when needed, to determine the correct course of action to resolve maintenance problems.Essential DutiesProvide aviation maintenance and repair services, as well as developmental and operational test and evaluation support, to include testing of aircraft, aviation systems and associated support equipmentMust have experience in all aspects or safety, documentations, HAZMAT, training/licenses/certifications, scheduling, production control and managementMust have analytical ability combined with knowledge and application of assurance principles and techniques.Organizational/intermediate level maintenanceMaybe required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.Other duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.
