This opportunity calls for a dedicated professional to deliver essential therapy services, documentation, and travel between educational sites, all within an efficient, contract-based schedule totaling 8 hours per week. You’ll make a difference while enjoying the flexibility to maximize your expertise. Current efforts are being made to coordinate with another candidate in a nearby area to optimize scheduling.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with eligibility to practice in Virginia.
• Previous experience working within educational settings or providing pediatric therapy strongly preferred.
• Competency in documenting services in compliance with state and district policies.
• Adaptable to different school environments and engaged in collaborative teamwork.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between school sites during work hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized physical therapy interventions and assessments to help students reach their educational and developmental goals.
• Accurately complete all required documentation per policy requirements to support students’ educational records.
• Coordinate and communicate with school staff, educators, and caregivers as part of the educational team.
• Schedule and provide services and travel efficiently within the designated weekly hours.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive environment that enhances student outcomes.
