Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM | Onsite | Call requirement of 11–13 days per month, including 2 weekends per month and coverage for 1 winter and 1 summer holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled registered nursing care within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting a two-lab department
• Assist with and circulate procedures including cardiac catheterizations, TEE/CVNs, pacemaker implants, EP ablations, PE/DVT thrombectomies, and Lexiscan injections for NucMed stress tests
• Operate and monitor equipment including Philips, GE, Pyxis, and MacLab systems
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays as assigned
• Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced or variable-volume environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
• Flexibility and availability to fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• MacLab monitoring experience (training available)
• Experience circulating EP procedures (training available)
