Step into a crucial support role in education as an experienced Paraprofessional for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a school paraprofessional or instructional aide
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented and adaptable to classroom needs
- Basic understanding of educational strategies and behavior management
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Offer individual or small group assistance to students as needed
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
- Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and non-instructional times
- Provide encouragement and guidance to promote student learning and independence
- Document and report student progress and concerns to teaching staff
