Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate in Riverside, California. This role offers remote work flexibility, allowing for a portion of the workweek to be conducted remotely. The position involves defending employers in various workplace-related claims and managing cases from inception to resolution. Duties Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to discovery. Draft and argue motions, and take and defend depositions. Proactively manage communications with clients throughout litigation. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients, complying with case management requirements. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Licensed to practice in the State of California. Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written. Experience handling discovery for complex matters. Substantial knowledge of evidentiary objections in responding to discovery. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in California. Skills Strong legal writing and research skills. Effective advocacy skills.
