Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. This position involves working night shifts in a fast-paced environment, caring for patients with a variety of critical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Manage trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases effectively.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 3 to 4:1.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) system, MedHost, for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure.
• Current basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), or trauma nurse core course (TNCC) certifications from AHA or ARC.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in emergency settings.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Must have titers available at the time of application.

Shift Details

This position is for night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, with no on-call requirements or floating to other departments.

Location

This position will be based in the Emergency Department located in [City, State]. Please note that travelers must be situated more than 50 miles from the facility.

Additional Information

Scrub color will be royal blue. Requests for time off must be submitted in a designated packet.
