Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Doctoral, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
• Active New Jersey PT license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 2 years of outpatient adult experience treating a range of diagnoses, including orthopedics, Parkinson's disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and gait/balance dysfunction.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record required.
• BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Ability to manage a caseload of at least 9 patients per day.
• Must be fully vaccinated, including COVID booster.
• RTLS badge acceptance required; traveler may be responsible for badge cost if issued.
• Will accept first-time travelers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Outpatient specialty certifications or additional training in neuro or vestibular rehabilitation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:30 - 16:30.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8.
• No call, weekends, or holidays required.

Impacting Patient Care


Provide evidence-based care to adult outpatients across musculoskeletal and neurologic diagnoses. Support interdisciplinary teams to improve patient function, safety, and quality of life. Document care using EPIC and maintain professional standards of practice and compliance.
