The Restaurant Assistant Manager supports daily operations by overseeing a small team of 1-5 staff and ensuring smooth service across both front and back-of-house areas. Reporting directly to the owner, this role requires hands-on involvement in staff supervision, customer service, and cash handling while maintaining a balanced approach to restaurant management. The position demands flexibility to work weekends and holidays to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a small restaurant team of 1-5 staff members
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries and concerns
• Manage cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Support front-of-house and back-of-house operational duties
• Maintain smooth communication with the owner and staff
• Help enforce food safety and hygiene standards
• Work scheduled hours including weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
