Truck Shop Mechanic

Truck Shop MechanicAvailability: ImmediateReports to: Truck Shop ManagerPosition Summary: The selected individual will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of the heavy-duty trucks, trailers and diesel forklifts including but not limited to service of equipment, performing routine preventative maintenance and preparing work orders for any defects found during the preventative maintenance. Other duties assigned.Skills and Experience:Must have own tools and tool chestCDL's a plusGood mechanic and electrical abilities12 months mechanic experienceDependable as demonstrated by past work historyExcellent attendance policy (policy applies)Able to lift 60-70 poundsAble to work with little or no supervisionAbility to work well with other partners, supervisors and managersMust be able to work a flexible schedule. Including overtime and weekends if necessaryWill work on call rotationsComputer skillsEOE, including disability/vets
