We are seeking a motivated Litigation Associate to join our New Orleans office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful case responsibility, hands-on litigation experience, and the chance to work alongside accomplished lawyers on complex and high-impact matters. About the Role As a Litigation Associate, you will support all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through discovery, motion practice, hearings, trial preparation, and appeal. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and critical thinker who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and contributing meaningfully to client service and case strategy. What You'll Do Manage assigned litigation matters with increasing responsibility and attorney oversight as appropriate Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and briefs Assist with written discovery, document review, depositions, and fact development Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal case teams Support hearings, mediations, trial preparation, and other key litigation events What We're Looking For Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice in Louisiana or eligible for admission 2–5 years of litigation experience preferred Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced practice What We Offer Stone Pigman offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated litigation matters in a collaborative and high-performing environment.
