Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview AMBER HALL LAW is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to take an active role in managing and advancing litigation in a fast‑paced personal injury practice. This is a hands‑on position for someone who can stay ahead of deadlines, maintain control of case flow, and provide strong, reliable support from filing through trial. You will work closely with attorneys to keep cases moving with precision and efficiency—ensuring deadlines are met, files are organized, and matters are fully prepared for hearings, depositions, mediation, and trial. The right candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and operates with a strong sense of ownership and urgency. Responsibilities Manage a docket of active litigation cases from filing through trial, ensuring cases progress efficiently and remain organized at all times Calendar, track, and proactively manage all litigation deadlines, including court deadlines, discovery, hearings, depositions, and mediations Draft and prepare legal documents, including motions, notices, proposed orders, and discovery requests and responses Coordinate and support all phases of litigation, including discovery, hearings, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, judicial assistants, opposing counsel, and law firm staff Organize and maintain case files in Filevine (or similar system), ensuring all documents, deadlines, and case activity are accurate and up to date Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal (personal injury experience strongly preferred) Demonstrated working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, including calendaring and managing litigation deadlines Proven experience supporting cases through all phases of litigation, from filing through trial preparation Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, attorneys, court staff, and opposing counsel Experience drafting legal documents, including motions, notices, proposed orders, and discovery Proficiency with case management software (Filevine preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with a high level of accuracy and accountability Self‑starter with strong initiative—able to anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and operate with minimal supervision Compensation Base Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 (commensurate with experience).
