Description Vascular Technologist - Interventional Radiology at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA The Interventional Radiology (IR) Cardiovascular Technologist will perform procedures on patients resulting in the accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired vascular disease and other organic disease while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified physician. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or graduate of a Radiologic Technology program with Radiologic Technologist registery certification by ARRT or equivalent education/experience Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire -OR- Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire -OR- National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in the field of Interventional Radiology and/or Cardiac Catheterization Experience in Neuro, Body, Vascular and Interventional Radiology Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
