Handyman/Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an experienced handyman/maintenance technician to join our team in Holliston. Individual will be required to perform maintenance tasks that include, but are not limited to; general maintenance, carpentry, drywall, masonry, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, window, door and lock repairs, painting, cleaning, snow removal, landscaping, picking up and delivering supplies, etc.

All members of the team are in a weekly "on-call" rotation to deal with emergencies on evenings and weekends. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance on a daily basis. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a certain level of skill in these areas and be able to perform these tasks in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

Property maintenance: 3+ years (Preferred)

Technical Skills: Proficient in general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.

Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, management, and contractors.

Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions efficiently.

Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and performing tasks that require physical exertion.

Minimum Job Requirements:

A valid driver's license

Additional Requirements:

Available to work 40+ hours a week including nights and weekends when required

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

Previous employment references

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally as part of routine maintenance tasks
