About Up to $25,000 Sign on Bonus, based on relevant experience** Unit Specializes in: 5 West serves a variety of patient types including Heart Monitoring, Observation, General Medical/Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, Medical Psychiatry, and Palliative/Hospice. Our 39-bed unit provides individualized care plans to help patients return to their pre-hospitalization state or as close as possible. You will be part of a collaborative medical team discussing the best care for each patient. RN ratios are 1:5 or 1:6 based on acuity. Specialized Equipment: Wound vac, PCA pumps, Specialty Beds Work Environment: Fast-paced, high patient turnover, wound care, psych patients requiring medical management. About DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital DMC Sinai-Grace is DMC’s largest hospital, offering comprehensive services including a heart center, cancer care, gerontology, emergency medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, and cosmetic services. It features a minimally invasive joint replacement program and operates over 21 outpatient care sites and ambulatory surgery centers. It is recognized for setting standards in cardiac care. Job Description The RN at DMC is responsible for nursing care management, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams, delegating and evaluating patient care, monitoring progress, and preparing patients for discharge. The RN reports to senior management and participates in shared decision-making.
