Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Dalton, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, document security-related activity, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovative solutions. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $12.26 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or potential hazards to appropriate site contacts. Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
