Avanti Denver is looking for a Host/ID Checker with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our guests during high-volume shifts on Friday/Saturday nights. You will be in charge of greeting guests, checking IDs upon entry, and explaining our concept upon arrival.

This position requires an energetic person with excellent social skills and a customer-first attitude.

Working Friday/Saturday nights from 9 pm-1 am will be required; availability to work holidays and large events as needed would be a plus!

$27 hourly

• Checking IDs of guests upon entry to Avanti on Friday/Saturday nights to ensure safe service.
• Completing a "sweep" of the restaurant at 10 PM to ensure all guests are 21+.
• Greeting guests upon arrival and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintaining the flow of guest entry and exit in the lobby.
• Explaining the concept upon arrival to first-time guests and answering any questions they might have. Directing them to our bars and restaurants.
• Uphold Avanti service standards and maintain composure as a good brand ambassador for Avanti.
• Maintain open and honest communication with the management staff about all issues or potential issues with staff, building maintenance, or service protocols.

• TIPs certification or equivalent for safe service.
• Experience in customer service in a bar or restaurant setting.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work in a high-volume atmosphere
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality.
