Carefree Living is seeking compassionate and reliable Float/travel CNAs to join our Northern Assisted Living communities . These positions provide coverage across multiple sites while delivering resident-centered care in a supportive and team-oriented environment. This role plays an essential part in ensuring consistent, high-quality care across our northern communities. Including Ely, Babbitt, Silver Bay, Virginia, Cook, Aurora and Buhl.

Schedule & Pay: $25-$28/hour. Shifts may vary based on the needs of the facility. Float coverage across multiple northern sites. Onsite housing accommodations provided if needed during scheduled work assignments, along with one complimentary meal per shift.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Obtain and document vital signs as directed.
• Assist residents with transfers, ambulation, range-of-motion exercises, and other care needs.
• Assist with medication administration and other delegated services as trained and directed by the RN.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition or behavior to nursing.
• Accurately document resident care and services provided.
• Provide friendly conversation, emotional support, and respectful interaction with residents.
• Assist with dining, housekeeping, and life enrichment activities as needed.
• Follow resident care plans, infection-control practices, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
• Float to local Carefree Living facilities as needed.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, leadership, and other team members to provide excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiver or CNA experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete Carefree Living's Resident Assistant competency requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent resident care.
• Ability to work independently while also being an effective member of the care team.
