POSITION OVERVIEW This Fund Finance role will be a key member of the fund finance and management company operations team and will have meaningful exposure to CPF’s accounting systems, investment funds, operating partners, and portfolio company finance contacts. Reporting to the Vice President, Fund Finance, you will support CPF’s fund and management-company finance operations with an emphasis on accounts payable, accounts receivable, operating partner allocations, portfolio company billbacks, intercompany reconciliations, recurring close support, and finance systems. CPF is implementing a new accounting system for the management company, and you are expected to be heavily involved in the implementation, testing, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of the system. This should provide a strong opportunity to help design scalable workflows, improve reporting and controls, and build expertise in CPF’s finance technology platform while owning day-to-day workstreams and escalating judgment-based or complex matters to the Vice President, Fund Finance and CFO as appropriate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Finance Operations Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, allocations, billbacks, intercompany receivables, collections support, and related reconciliations. Coordinate with portfolio companies and operating partners on billback, invoice, and dispute resolution. Systems & Process Improvement Support implementation and ongoing improvement of CPF’s management company accounting system, including workflows, data migration, testing, reporting, integrations, documentation, training, and controls. Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and use accounting systems and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual work and improve consistency. Support quarter-end close and first-level review of fund reporting packages, financial statements, capital accounts, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Support quarterly portfolio company valuation reviews and maintain fund and portfolio company performance metrics. Capital Activity Coordinate capital calls and distributions and reconcile investment transactions and related cash activity. Treasury Management Support cash monitoring, wires/ACH, bank reconciliations, liquidity reporting, bank account administration, and line of credit activity. Compliance & Audit Support compliance with fund governing documents, regulatory standards, and internal policies; maintain internal controls and documentation; and support audit requests. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA, CPA-track, or relevant credential a plus. 2–4 years of relevant accounting, finance, fund administration, asset management, private equity, professional services, or finance systems implementation experience preferred. Strong accounting fundamentals, systems aptitude, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Experience with NetSuite, Ramp, or similar GL/AP/expense systems a plus. Interest or experience in accounting systems, workflow/process improvement, scalable finance operations, and AI-enabled tools. Strong communication, organization, analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines.
