This position will be in Huntsville, AL. Position Overview The selected Engineer will support the Ground‑based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) Automated Test and Verification (ATV) Team and is responsible for developing manual, automation, and systems engineering related test products in support of the GWS contract execution on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Essential Functions Build systems engineering and test products assigned by leadership related to requirement verification efforts at the system level Develop software and hardware test artifacts in an Agile environment Thrive in a fast‑paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative team settings across all levels Basic Qualifications Systems Test Engineer Level 3: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related work experience, or a Master’s Degree in STEM and 3 years of related work experience, or a PhD and 1 year of related work experience. Systems Test Engineer Level 4: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of related work experience, or a Master’s Degree in STEM and 6 years of related work experience, or a PhD and 4 years of related work experience.
