Senior Project Accountant

Our client seeking an experienced Senior Project Accountant to support complex project-based accounting operations. This is a hybrid, 3-5+ month contract opportunity located in Arlington, TX ideal for an accounting professional with strong project costing, WIP/CIP, revenue recognition, and financial analysis experience within project-driven environments. Key Responsibilities Manage project revenue, costs, accruals, and profitability reporting Support percentage-of-completion accounting, WIP/CIP, and project billing activities Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close deliverables Analyze project performance and investigate cost and margin variances Partner with project managers to review forecasts and financial results Assist with commissions, inventory-related accounting, and audit support Contribute to process improvements, automation efforts, and system enhancements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of project accounting experience Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and project costing Experience with milestone-based, long-term, or cost-reimbursable projects Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience; NetSuite experience preferred CPA and construction, engineering, infrastructure, energy, or utility industry experience are a plus Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
