Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1-2+ years of experience.

Unit Details: Geriatric and adult patient population; typically only 3-4 pediatric patients per year. Uses Welch Allyn vital machines, Masimo at bedside in every room, CareView, telemetry, Sara Stedy, and ARJO lift. Unit secretary/monitor tech stationed at the Med-Surg nurses station.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend unless there is a need, and staff may be scheduled more than every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Depending on census, staff may be placed on call or floated. May float to medical detox, ICU, OB, or ER; task assignments only in OB and ER. Will take low-level Med-Surg overflow patients in ICU with a 1:3 ratio.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
